In 2010 we pedaled off on a multi-year trip to photograph the diverse bicycle cultures, capture the experience of traveling on two wheels, and shoot new “Little Red Cyclist” images. You can follow our journey via this blog.
Note: the articles don’t follow our trip “real time” and are approximately two years behind our present location.
Loved being back on the road – surrounded by beautiful scenery.
By an Argentinean automobile association campground we met our first ‘camp dogs’. These are extremely friendly canines who hang around barbecues. They aren’t afraid of people and will greet you as if you were a long lost friend that they haven’t seen for years. This guy took refuge underneath our tent rainfly when a storm blew through the campground.
The leaves were changing colour, the temperature was just right and there was almost no traffic or wind.
In Mendoza we were able to do some necessary repair jobs such as taping in a new tent floor (our old one had finger size holes in it) and replacing inner tubes.
